Hey folks,
I didn’t write a blog this week or last week. Last week I was very busy recording and mixing stuff. I spent 9 hours recording strings on April 14, then recorded trumpet the following Monday, then tenor sax on Wednesday.
After recording the tenor sax it was time to make another video. I spent Thursday-Saturday making the video, so I was pretty burned out on talking about my music by Sunday. I really just wanted to mix it.
Anyway, the music is finally starting to sound decent. It was mostly incoherent until recently because half the parts were missing. You can catch some good excerpts in the background on the video. Of course, since it’s a bit buried in the mix behind me talking nonsense, you’ll need your earbuds or other decent speakers to hear it clearly.
Enough talking. I’ll have another update next week.
